Robert Bosch GmbH, usually called Bosch, is a German electronics company headquartered in Gerlingen, near Stuttgart. Bosch works as a subcontractor to the automotive industry and is also a leading manufacturer of power tools, household appliances, industrial and building technology (including safety technology) and packaging technology. Bosch is the world's largest supplier to the automotive industry and has a presence in over 50 countries with 249 production facilities (of which 64 in Germany) and approximately 390,000 employees.
